Ban Notice - Exploit Abuse

Hello everyone,

Following a full review of our server logs and database, the following accounts have received a 3-day ban in line with our server rules:

• Glad1at0r
• Odisey

• DracaresBG

   

All alternate and mule accounts belonging to these players - 18 accounts in total have been banned for the same period.

What they farmed

Between 12 and 18 August, these players exploited a bug in the Festival of Souls reward to generate:

382,300 WCoin across 763 fraudulent transactions on 154 characters

None of it was earned through gameplay. A large part of it was already spent on high-end gear.

Why they were sanctioned

A bug in our reward system made this possible, and that is on us. But this was not someone stumbling onto it once and moving on.

The activity was automated and repeated hundreds of times across six days, with mule accounts used to funnel the proceeds into main accounts and characters deleted afterwards to cover the trail. That is deliberate abuse, not an accident.

Knowingly farming a bug at this scale instead of reporting it is a rule violation, and the standard 3-day penalty has been applied. Read our Rules.

If you took part in the Festival of Souls normally you are fine

20 accounts used the Festival of Souls reward exactly as intended. You have not been actioned and no further action will be taken. Only accounts that mass-farmed it were included.

The bug is fixed

The exploit has been patched and no longer works. We will not be publishing the details.
